Polaris Art Returns Policy
Below are the conditions and provisions for returning any items purchased from our website.
Customer Satisfaction is our Goal Top
If you are not satisfied in any way with an item purchased from our website, you may return the item within 30 days from the date the order was shipped provided that the Member Artist Return Policy, if one exists, also allows for the return of the item.
Refunds / Credits Top
Refunds and credit card credits will be issued when an item has been returned and, if necessary, has passed the inspection of the Member Artist. Return shipping charges are not refundable.
Return Authorization Required Top
You must inform us, via our 'Contact Us' form, prior to shipping a return in order to receive a Return Authorization Number, proper instructions, and return shipping address information. If, for some reason, you can not access our website, you may also send your return request as a reply to the shipping confirmation email that we sent to you. If neither of these methods is possible, please send an email to: email@example.com with as much information regarding your order as possible.
Damaged Returns Top
Our Member Artists gladly accept returns that follow the provisions in our Returns Policy. However, art prints, especially originals and certain mediums such as pastels, are very delicate. Therefore you need to take extra care to ensure that the item you are returning arrives undamaged and in its original and saleable condition. If possible, when unwrapping your item, save the original packaging materials as they are the ones specifically chosen by the Member Artist to protect their artwork during shipment. If we do receive a damaged item as a return and we are unable to re-enter the item into our inventory, then we can offer you one of the following remedies:
A) The item will be returned to you at no further charge.
B) We can refund you 50% of the purchase price of the item or the amount allowed by the Member Artist, whichever is greater.
We strongly suggest insuring all return shipments to avoid any possible shipping damage losses.
