Pastels are superb for the gorgeous effects I can get when creating paintings with the immense variety of bright colors that are available. It also allows me to fully express the intricate interaction of light, color, and shadow visible in the natural world. Pastels are also my favorite for painting animals because I can get the softness and realism of fur or feathers that makes you want to reach out and touch the animal.

All of my original pastels are matted using archival quality materials and framed under glass. Mat and frame colors and styles are selected to compliment each individual piece of artwork. They ship insured, and arrive ready-to-hang with all hardware.
